Alyson Marie Albarran

About Me

Alyson Marie Albarran is a professional cellist and recording instrumentalist in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. She attended Southern Methodist University and earned both a BM in cello performance and a Performance Diploma. Having studied under musicians such as Andres Dias and Christopher Adkins, to name a few, she specializes in both classical and pop/contemporary music. Using her intuitive improvisation skills, Mrs. Albarran accels at creating ornate melodies in the recording studio with her unique musical ear. In addition, she is also a cellist in the Fort Smith Symphony. Both on and off the stage she encourages collaboration in all that she does. As an educator, Mrs. Albarran regularly mentors young musicians in their musical studies by instructing cello private lessons and clinicing group sectionals. Her passion for creating musical connections with people goes beyond surface level. Mrs. Albarran’s goal is always to share the important impactfulness music is capable of and use its influence for connectivity in communities. Having recorded with artists and groups such as Naxos Records, West 22nd, and Woodstreet Worship, Alyson Marie Albarran continues to optimistically look forward to future opportunities and growth in the music industry.
